    It is recommended that you attend the same orientation as your new UNT student. While the orientation schedules are separate, there are some combined activities throughout the program.

  • Parent & Family Orientation Registration

    Please provide information about the guests attend Parent & Family Orientation. There is a fee for all guests to participate in the program. NOTE: If a session is no longer available in the session options below, that indicates pre-registration for that session is closed. On-site registration will be available for all Parent & Family Orientation events.

  • The following sessions are closed for pre-registration. If you are interested in attending a closed session, you should plan to sign up onsite during the program check-in period on the first day. Please do not register for a session you are not planning to attend. 

    Registration for sessions 12 & 13 will open in mid-July.

  • Primary Registrant

    Price for an adult participant in Freshman Parent & Family Orientation is $115 (does not include housing).

  • Additional Adult Registrations

    Price per adult registrant is $115 (does not include housing).

  • Child Registration

    Price per child 5 and older is $60 (does not include housing).

  • Housing During Orientation

    Students are required to stay in the orientation residence hall (except for sessions 12 & 13). On-campus housing during orientation is optional for parents for an additional fee. Fill out the section below to reserve a room in Honors Hall during orientation. Your student is NOT able to stay with you in the residence hall during orientation. On-campus housing is NOT available during sessions 12-13. Please note that all on-campus housing accommodations include twin size beds. Linens, pillows, and towels are NOT provided.
